Another great week at keller Williams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, it has been another uplifting week at Keller Williams.  We are still noticing the market seems to be getting back to “normal.”  More and more buyers are reaching out for help from real estate agents.  The sellers seem to be back on track with current market conditions.  Also, lenders are telling us that loans are becoming more available with good rates and terms.  The current rate, as of this morning, is at 6.32% for a conventional 30 year fixed mortgage.  There are still plenty of homes in the inventory so a buyer has plenty of options to find the perfect home for their families at great prices.  We still feel that the market will be slow changing through the summer and until the election takes place.  Once we figure out what is happening in the world, the market should be as active as ever due to the “paradise” that we all live in.

In sports, Tiger woods won his 14th major moving him one step closer to Jack Nicholas with 18 majors.  Unfortunately, Tiger will not be able to compete in any more tournaments this year due to his knee problems.  He will be going into another surgerytrying to get his knee back in shape.  It seems the Tampa Bay Rays are continuing to dominate in the major league.  They have now beat the Chicago Cubs, best record in baseball, 2 out of 2 times with their final game tonight.  The Rays are no joke!!!! In basketball, the Boston Celtics finally won a championship, their first one in over 20 years.  The Celtics completely dominated the Lakers in the final game winning by a 40 point margin.

Recipe for the week:Chicken Pasta Salad-You will need; 8 oz. any pasta (bowtie), 2 cups cooked chicken, 1 8oz. can sliced water chessnuts, 3 green onions (sliced or chopped), 1 cup mayo., 1/2 cup chutney (major greys), 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper, 2 tablespoons dry sherry, and 7 oz. snow peas (frozen or fresh).

Mix pasta, chicken. chestnuts, and onions together and set aside. Next mix mayo, chutney, red pepper, sherry and add to the pasta mixture.  Finally, mix peas and any optional fruit (mandarin oranges and red grapes are delicious) to the mix with ease so we don’t break up the fruit. Cover and chill for 4 hours. ENJOY!!!! You might want to double this one because it won’t stay around long!!!!

I want to thank you again for taking time to read our blog.  As always, if there is anything you need, never hesitate to call on the “Family that Welcomes you Home!”  We hope you have a great week and please look for another exciting blog next week from your friends at Keller Williams, The Serena Group!!!!!!
